Yumo Yumo is developed by Yumo Yumo Inc., a Delaware corporation in the United States. The company is a research and engineering organisation working at the intersection of consumer spending data, on-chain incentives, and price transparency. It coordinates a small core engineering effort supported by specialist contributors in cryptography, OCR systems, on-chain settlement, and consumer markets.

Yumo Yumo Inc. was incorporated by Uğur Alacakapı — an international economics graduate with eight years of blockchain protocol research — to translate field observation across emerging markets into an open, multilingual protocol for verified household spending data. Active field research across Southeast Asia continues to inform the protocol's design: household shopping behaviour, merchant receipt formats, and price-tracking habits are documented in person and feed directly into canonical taxonomy, merchant resolution, and the user-facing product surface.
